Frequently Asked Questions
We have been serving the dance community for more than 35 years in this location with over 20 highly qualified instructors covering all styles of partner dancing. We do not use contracts or have any high pressure sales. We promise to provide a friendly “family like” atmosphere where you can come in and forget about the stresses of your day and just have a great time learning popular dances while having the opportunity to make new friends and participate in the healthiest sport ever! We have two large ballrooms, totaling over 7300 square feet. Each ballroom has an independent sound system.
Our goal is to provide a relaxed, comfortable, fun atmosphere for people to learn how to dance, refine their dance skills, and socialize with friends who enjoy the same hobby. Whether you are an experienced dancer looking for new material, or a brand-new beginner preparing for a special occasion, Starlight offers flexible group dance classes to fit into both your schedule and your budget. We require no long-term commitment or contracts. Please let us know what we can do to help you achieve your goals in dancing.

No. All of our instructors will rotate partners periodically during the class. This means not only do you not need a partner, but you will have several partners during the class. This makes group dance classes a great way to meet new people and potential practice partners.
Group classes are $15.00 per person, per hour (unless otherwise specified). If you pay in advance for a 4 or 5 week monthly course, classes are just $10 each ($40 for 4 weeks, $50 for 5 weeks). We do offer a student discount for current students (with valid student ID) of $7 per group class. (Only applies to our regular weekly group classes.Special events excluded unless otherwise specified.)
Because all of our instructors are independent contractors, they set their own prices for private lessons. We recommend that if you would like to take a private lesson, that you talk to the instructor directly.
